About the Image(s)
I liked the starkness of this scene, and hope I conveyed that. Hopefully, the path among the rocks, ruins and trees, gives this enough depth. Do you need more light among the rocks?

The rocks need more light and the path could use a touch more as well.
The path is your lead into the frame and the area above it where the path "disappears" could be dodged a bit. I also used a linear gradient on the rocks to open them up a bit. Here is my cut at it

Thanks, Emil, I think your version improves this.   Posted: 03/08/2025 13:49:08
Jack, for me, this image has the feel of a graveyard, which as we know, is great subject matter for IR. You've expertly handled the strengthening of leading lines. Maybe the gentle burning some of the white in the rock stack on the left might increase contrast and, therefore, add a bit more strength?   Posted: 03/02/2025 12:02:42
Interesting and beautiful picture. Your post processing looks great. I like it as presented.

Jack,
Certainly a different subject and treatment. I really like the adjusted version from Emil. I think this enhances the trail and gives more depth to the whole scene.   Posted: 03/07/2025 07:07:22

Hi Jack, Although stark, it seems busy. lightening the pathway and background trees will simplify and give dimension. Even so it's such a well seen image.   Posted: 03/10/2025 09:32:08
Jack, another great scene. I do agree that Emil's version is more effective. I would also remove that small squarish black bit in the lower left of the frame.   Posted: 03/11/2025 13:40:59
