About the Image(s)
There’s not much to say about this picture. I was on a country road and noticed the curve in the fence and its shadows and decided to take a few pictures. Post processing was mainly some tonal adjustments in ACR and later, during the B&W conversion, in Nik Silver Efex Pro. I also removed a few leaves and a small cloud from the top/left area. Noise reduction and sharpening were done in Topaz DeNoise AI.
Taken with the Nikon D300, set to ISO 200, 1/100 sec, f11, EV +0.33.

I do love good leading lines, Arik and I really like the lines in this image. It's very satisfying all around, I have no suggestions.   Posted: 02/04/2025 22:44:51
I'm drawn to fence shadows too, they make natural and easy leading lines. Here, the curve is a bonus. I like the touch of sepia. The nice strong mid tone contrast here helps me see that my own image needs more. Very nice.   Posted: 02/04/2025 23:54:30
Arik, I can see why you were attracted to this scene. The light is good, and the sweeping curve in the fence and shadows is very fetching. Certainly eye candy.   Posted: 02/05/2025 01:11:24
Hi Arik,
Great tonality and balanced composition. Elegantly post-processed.   Posted: 02/05/2025 12:36:28

Arik,
Two Thumbs Up!
A curving fence line with trees in line with it - you got to take the shot

Hi Arik. All the elements are there. It makes us happy. Lines and shadows everywhere. In looking at the original there is lovely detail in the tree trunks that shows where the light is catching too . Maybe you tonality is just a touch too heavy.   Posted: 02/11/2025 15:40:00
