Good morning, Diana. You produced a simple, yet naturally lovely image of a gerbera daisy that jumps out from the dark green blurred background. I'm still debating whether I like the blurred daisy in the background or not. I'm leaning towards cloning it out or blurring it more because it does tend to cause some distraction.   Posted: 02/12/2025 12:53:07

Nice background making the flower jump out with great impact. Like David I may eliminate the background flower. I like the nice soft lighting. Would like to know more about the lighting which gives the image depth.   Posted: 02/18/2025 21:45:07

Hi Diana, beautiful image of this yellow gerbera, which you have captured with plenty of detail and sharpness. I like the contrast in colours between the flower and the background.

Even though I usually like the contrast between a flower in the foreground and a blurred one in the background, in this case, I find it a bit distracting due to its placement in the composition. I agree that eliminating it could benefit the image.   Posted: 02/19/2025 23:40:41

Hi Diana,
Lovely yellow daisy with nice details. The green blurred background complements the flower. I agree with the other members and remove the daisy in the background.   Posted: 02/20/2025 00:40:59

Who doesn't love a yellow daisy, or a photograph of a yellow daisy. The image places me right in front of the flower and I can almost feel the surrounding atmosphere. I find the daisy in the background to be superfluous.   Posted: 02/23/2025 00:43:23
