I had a fun time taking photos of some yellow roses in my back yard just after a heavy rainstorm a few years ago. Although I have been known to use a water spray bottle on flowers this was not the case with this rose.

A simple and pleasant image of a yellow rose. I like how you cropped in very close to see only the yellow petals with no distractions. The rain droplets add a lot to the overall image as well. Nicely done! Posted: 02/08/2025 11:15:38

Nice macro shot of the lovely, yellow rose. You captured nice details. The raindrops add interest. Nice job. I think one border would work better than the double border.

Hi Shirley, I really like the close-up of this yellow rose. The square crop suits the composition really well, and the drops of water add a special touch to the image. Beautifully done!
