About the Image(s)
Found these mushrooms growing at a state park near where I live. Found them growing under a Pine tree. Yellow Patches are found growing in Eastern North America. They are considered a highly toxic mushroom.
Taken using my 105-macro lens, f-22, ISO 100. Exposure was 1/2 sec. Taken with camera on a tripod as always with a polarizer on the lens.

What a perfect image of mushrooms. In the summer months, I'm always on the lookout for mushrooms to photograph, but I can never find such excellent specimens. Everything is in focus with a nice blurred background. I wouldn't change a thing.   Posted: 12/03/2024 01:32:41

Great find! The texture and color of the mushrooms pop. Tack sharp and well exposed. Nicely done, Dick.   Posted: 12/07/2024 16:16:58

Outstanding! Great detail and clarity. You focus placement is perfect! You were able to get all the mushrooms in focus and also the leaves in the foreground. Well done.   Posted: 12/12/2024 01:43:59

Hi Dick,
This is a superb image of the group of fungi. You've captured them at the perfect moment of growth-still in pristine condition and beginning to show a beautiful red coloration.
The image has excellent separation, with the blurred background highlighting the fungi, and there's plenty of detail in the subject.   Posted: 12/19/2024 12:10:26
