About the Image(s)
I'm attaching July's image. My goal here was to feature shadows and lines. This was taken at the Maneta Schrem Museum of Art in Davis, actually on the UC Davis campus, California. I'm in love with the architecture of the building as it casts great lines and shadows. This was just one vantage point. What you get depends on the time of day. Inside is an outdoor dining patio that casts similar shadows, but the museum wasn't open yet. I processed it in black and white because I thought the shadows would have more depth and character. Besides, except for blue skies, it's almost monochrome!

I love everything about this photo. The lines, the almost chevron pattern in the foreground and the monochrome of it all. Nice!   Posted: 07/04/2024 00:54:06
I think this is a lovely image. I like all the lines and shading. The reflection in the window is a very nice touch. I wouldn't change a thing about this image. Well done.   Posted: 07/04/2024 14:28:42
