About the Image(s)
Thanks for the reminder! This image was taken in May this year. Sometimes when I get bored or feeling low, I take my camera to our local Green Acres Nursery. Fortunately, they don't mind photographers roaming through the nursery. I had my macro lens on and was dealing with high sun, which helped show the veins in the petals of these flowers. After looking at my metadata, I'm sure my aperture and ISO were off. But, I think it worked out. I was there for about an hour and left feeling much better.

Anne,
Being amidst flowers is always a positive for me too.
The small aperture (f20) gives this image lots of depth of field, which works well. The thin pink petals with the light shining on them adds texture and a soft color palette. There is no clear center of interest in this image but sometimes that works and this image is an example of that.   Posted: 07/06/2026 14:25:40

Thanks Dean. I guess, for me, the flowers are the center of interest. This type of photography always centers me. How could I have brought this picture a center of interest? Or is this one where you don't need one? I'm always eager to learn, especially since macro and flowers are my passion.   Posted: 07/06/2026 15:06:29
I think this is one of those images that doesn't need a clear center of interest.   Posted: 07/06/2026 15:18:20
