About the Image(s)
I photographed him at an outdoor concert. In processing it, I first corrected in ACR for light and color, went to Nik Color Effects Pro and adjusted shadows, and then denoised with Topaz. Any suggestions to improve it (going in People Category) will be appreciated.

Rita, what a great environmental portrait. I love the colors and the hippie look right down to the nose ring. The only suggestion I have, and I don't know if you can do anything about it, would be to fix the blown out area on his hair on the right. I have a feeling that to try to fix it might ruin it. Otherwise, I love it. It's so expressive and animated.   Posted: 04/10/2026 03:06:34
Thank you. I thought I had done that, but not well enough. It's the most difficult issue with the photo from the start, and then I don't want the face much darker.   Posted: 04/10/2026 16:20:56
That's why I thought any more editing might ruin the image. Again great capture!   Posted: 04/10/2026 18:30:12
I have seen this face before from other SC photographers - certainly a photogenic face. The background is nicely blurred and not distracting, as is often the case with these photos. The backlighting on the hair borders on being blown out (overexposed) - might be able to tone it done just a bit.   Posted: 04/14/2026 15:01:23
Rita,
I also remember seeing this face before. The vivid colors and facial expression are well captured. The blurred background accentuates the main subject. Good luck in trying to bring out a little detail in the backlit hair. It will require patience and probably multiple tries but is well worth the effort.   Posted: 04/18/2026 11:38:09

Diana, I had put a side photo of him in October 2025 round. I had this frontal one, that I thought might be better. What do you think? I have asked Dean about posting my worked on one after these comments.   Posted: 04/18/2026 21:31:17
Dean, See the October 2025 round, as I put him in there - in a side photo. I was trying this front photo to see if it is better, but I don't think it is. Can I post one here having worked on it?   Posted: 04/18/2026 21:29:39
