About the Image(s)
The original is the one taken with my Olympus OMD-EM-1markii while walking through the woods along a stream. I liked the way the leaf stood out on the rock but decided it needed to be cropped. As I started cropping I decided to focus on the texture and water drops as well as the colors.
I'm considering entering it into a competition for the "Textures in Nature" theme.
I did denoise it in Topaz and enhanced the colors a bit in LR.
As I look at it again, I wonder if I cropped the bottom too much. Any thoughts about that and other ideas about matching the theme?

I think the crop is good, and the colors are great.

Erin, I think you picked an interesting subject to put in that category. I would back off the crop and show more of the leaf, and hopefully you would not lose the texture and details. Maybe less sharpening in Topaz - like low light and see what you get? And you have to come up with a title, so what will that be?
