Golden Aspens by Rita Johnston

November 2024 - Golden Aspens

About the Image(s)

Data on it is taken in May, when the aspens were just blooming. F 8, focal length 493, Aperture 4, Aperture priority of a landscape scene. I took it with a Sony RX10iv. I rarely see Aspens, so I appreciated the young colors and the scene in general in May in the mountains. The original was just cropped to this scene, so I did not include it. I get asked to put to photos of Spring or Autumn scenes put for display, so this is one I would display in the spring. All comments appreciated.

I like this image. I'm glad you explained that the aspens were just blooming. If they were in full bloom with more green, that would have made this picture great. I would suggest that you take out the brown leaves on the left side of the picture because it draws my attention away from the aspens. I like the brown on the bottom.   Posted: 11/30/2024 04:17:57
