About the Image(s)

I took this image at Saguaro National Park East earlier this year. I am not including the original out of camera files as it consists of 10 total images.

9 images of the night sky were edited in Adobe camera Raw and stacked in Sequator.

Sigma 18 - 35mm F1.8 Art lens
Canon 90D DSLR

F1.8
ISO 3200
8 seconds

1 foreground image with initial edits in Adobe Camera Raw
Same lens and camera

F6.3
ISO 800
5 minutes

The final image is a foreground blended with the sky and final edits made in Photoshop.

Beautiful photo! I love how you stacked it and really made it pop. I have never seen that many cacti in one place, so it must be an unusual desert place. Great photo!   Posted: 11/30/2024 02:56:40

Thank you!

I live 5 minutes from Saguaro National Park on the east side of Tucson. It is a great place to go out at night and shoot the stars!

Denny, This is a great night image and taken in a beautiful place. I'm sure stacking the photos helped produce this exceptional image.   Posted: 11/30/2024 04:10:59

Thank you, Stacking helps a lot with high ISO noise in the sky.   Posted: 11/30/2024 14:11:32
