My little guy is back. My friend has been hanging out in my koi pond and likes to sit in the wet dirt of my water lily plant I have sitting in the water. I liked the contrast of textures in the image. I shot it with my iPhone and cropped it in Photoshop. I also adjusted the toning a little and erased some distracting plant debris.

What a cute little frog. It looks like he is posing for you! I took the liberty of cropping in to eliminate the plant to the left. I also darkened the area surrounding the frog so he would stand out more and I cloned out the stem to the left of the frog. Posted: 09/09/2023 15:01:14

Nice subject, he must like being your model. I think it really helps strengthen the composition having him in the lower and creating a strong diagonal line up through the opposite corner via the big leaf. Cindys crop works very well.

Nice setting for aquatic scene. I'm wondering how close you can get to the frog with a phone camera? The split in the Lilly left might have made a good frame for a picture from angle on the left. Looks like the frog is about to jump. Posted: 09/30/2023 12:01:48
