About the Image(s)
Well had this small water element in the front garden which we had hoped would attract butterflies. Never could capture a photo of a butterfly but thought the wet rocks were interesting. Shot with my Canon D7, at Iso100, f8 with 100mm macro lens.

Kia Ora Bob. I like your composition, with each layer having different levels of light. The stones are interesting - I hope your water feature attracts the butterflies you are waiting for!   Posted: 10/03/2026 00:52:29
You have nice focus and I really like the yellow leaves above the rocks. You may try to tone down the white stone on the bottom right of the plate. It is verging on being blown out. I think you could crop just below the plate of stones eliminating the bottom stones. I don't thin they add much to your image. After I cropped it, I added a slight vignette.   Posted: 10/03/2026 14:29:15

I agree with Cindy's suggestion on the crop and and my favorite part is the moss (?) or bit of yellow at the top of the stones. The colors look great together. Nicely done.   Posted: 10/03/2026 15:20:32
