About the Image(s)
Was experimenting with my 10--18mm wide angle lens which I have not used in awhile. This image was shot in the late afternoon, hence the1250 ISO. Aperture was F5.6 at 1/200 sec. I cropped heavily to remove distractions on the sides and bottom. I wanted to emphasize the yellow flowers, so I softened the greens along with the background, boosted there vibrance and added some dynamic contrast. Overlayed the entire image with a mild texture. Editing done in ON1.

A dreamy photo! I really like the softness of the flowers. I don't have much to offer in the way of improvement. The only bit that I am wondering about is the center seems a bit sparse.
Since the stems are at an angle, perhaps trying rotating it a bit to the right? or crop even further keeping either the top half (would also crop left side) or bottom half of the photo (with a right side crop)?

I like the many shades of green and the softness of this photo. There isn't a clear focus point, however, it works for me to take in the image as a whole. For me, it seems a little noisy, so I used DeNoise and then added a slight vignette to help keep the viewer's eye in the frame. See what you think. Posted: 08/10/2026 16:00:39
