About the Image(s)

I was hoping to find something sprouting to signify Spring but I think I'm still about 2 weeks away from really seeing anything Spring like. The dried leaf caught my eye, it has good texture and shape, not sure whether the birdhouse adds or distracts. Couldn't get any closer due to logs underfoot, etc. It was breezy which led to the higher ISO. I cropped as much as I could without losing detail. Taken with my Sony a6500, 90mm macro lens. at f4.5, 1/750 sec at ISO 800. Processed in ON1 Photo RAW. Cropped image, pulled down the highlights, added dynamic contrast to bring out detail on the leaf, and some vibrance for color. Added a vignette to keep focus on the subjects.
