I'm spending some time processing images I've saved to my hard drive, but have done nothing with. This is a photo I took about a year ago when we took three of our granddaughters to a local wildlife park. This wee fellow was very friendly, just wanted pats ... and food!

I cropped the image first, then used an adjustment layer to slightly de-saturate the background. I dodged and burned using two curves layers, to lighten the eye, and some of the head and the ear in the foreground. I used Camera Raw to bring back some detail to the ear at the back, and added a white vignette at low opacity.

What a wonderful shot. You have great details, even the puff of white fur on his horn. The eyes look great. Your post-processing is spot-on. Nice job. I wouldn't change a thing.   Posted: 11/08/2025 16:08:06

Nice critter shot; a friendly face for sure. Eyes sharp and as Cindy says, post work is excellent. The white vignette is a nice touch, doesn't always work but does here, keeps the image bright and upbeat.   Posted: 11/23/2025 01:35:50
