About the Image(s)
I was on a path to see and photograph a waterfall in Oregon a few years ago. Along the way I saw this new tree growing out of the moss on a large tree. The area was very humid because of the mist off the waterfall. I took it with a Nikon camera and 18-200mm lens at 56mm, 2 seconds, f9, and ISO 200. I had a tripod with me to take the waterfall images, so I used it for this image.

All the different deep shades of green are so lush and lovely. You have nice focus and I think the centered composition works well for this image. I would suggest cropping up some from the bottom, but all in all, a very nice photo.   Posted: 04/08/2025 15:19:52
