Shows my age but I still have to laugh that cassette tapes are old technology. Tore one apart for a close up of the gears. The white/blue colors are unusual and I thought it would be interesting. Taken with my Sony a6500, 90mm FE macro lens at f22 for 1.6 sec, plus EV3 to brighten the whites. Some of the white textured plastic always looked soft no matter what adjustments I made, so I guess I'll abstract hahaha.

This does make an interesting abstract design. I am not a fan of the pastel blue and think that a monochrome version really enhances the design and makes this a stronger image. Posted: 01/17/2025 02:29:19
The image is very sharp from edge to edge for such a macro shot. I never looked at cassette tapes that close to see the gears and detail. It makes me wonder what I have that I can photograph so close. The color does bother me, and I like the monochrome that Cindy showed us. Posted: 01/20/2025 21:47:01
