I took both a full shot and this close-up and I liked this one better. I thought the silver painted jar lip gave it some interest. I used a tripod and 50 mm prime lens. Other settings: f/9, 1/8 ad ISO 320.

Nice image, sharp and has that nice flow coming up the left side. I like what you have done with the background, was there a light on it? Smooth transition. And good idea with the painted mason jar. Better to have that color than clear glass and specular highlights. Well balanced and well done ! Posted: 01/15/2025 22:36:10
