About the Image(s)
I find orchids ver ychallenging to keep eveything, especially the center, in focus without focus stacking. I feel like I was suuccessful with is one though. In post processing, I darkened the background and adjusted the lighting and details on the rochid. Settings: f/5, 1/125, ISO 200 and 60 mm focal length. The camera was hand-held.

Water droplets really make this image. Great job hand holding. That does take practice and skill. A wall hanger for sure.

Great composition. I like the choice of putting it on a black background. I also really like the droplets of water. They are very delicate.   Posted: 11/22/2024 00:06:06

Very nice, and I agree about trying to get these challenging flowers in focus. You did a great job at with the f5 aperture. Luv that you also got the texture in the petals without blowing out the hilites. As noted, the drops are just enough and well placed.   Posted: 11/22/2024 17:26:10

You accomplished getting the orchid sharp from front to back. Like Bob said, the texture in the petals is great. Putting the flower on a black background was a good choice. I like that the orchid is slightly tilted and that the stem is visible. No suggestions as how to improve it, well done.   Posted: 11/23/2024 18:13:25
