About the Image(s)

I've had this in the files since last winter. It is what the title suggests. The tractor was just spinning about as it was doing its snow plow work. It's been converted to B&W because it was all grays and blacks anyway. It's rather rough but then again, the materials in the frame are rough also.

Sol, I like BW images so the conversion is fine with me. As you mentioned, the natural colors and textures do make this scene a good BW subject. It's abstract in a way, but it works for me. I think the one darker brick-like panel adds interest. Leading lines, too. I like it. I might have flipped it horizontally to get those leading lines going from low left to right. Just a thought.

This is a study in pattern variation all in one image. Very nicely seen. The conversion to B&W strengthens the concentration on pattern. I like it.   Posted: 10/02/2026 18:50:11

An interesting study in abstract photography. One could ponder for a long time wondering what they were looking at. Black and white works well.   Posted: 10/10/2026 21:02:43
