About the Image(s)

Lately I've been playing with an app called Big Photo. It costs $2.95 per year and it's worth it. You can take really small parts of your image and blow it up but maintain high quality. So check out my original and you'll see.

Great work Sol. I bought the app Big Photo and have not mastered the use yet. I have been spending so much time helping my wife after her 6 days in the Hospital. She is doing better at home but it is going to take time getting her strength back. She starts physical therapy next week. Again I impressed with your use of the Bob Photo app. Jerry

PS I am sharing my interest in using a very fine border around images. I forget to do this my self. I will for sure add a thing border for my image next month. Jerry   Posted: 04/03/2026 16:26:50

An amazing demonstration of the utility of Big Photo. I can see crests on some of the birds and suspect that they are waxwings as if I were looking through binoculars! In the blow up the various telephone wires add some perspective so removing them doesn't seem needed.   Posted: 04/04/2026 15:38:20

It was too daunting a task to remove those wires. I think it would be better without them.   Posted: 04/05/2026 16:55:59

The Big Photos app does some pretty amazing stuff. The detail on the enlarged image is very good.

The app did an amazing job at producing a "big photo." I like the mountain in the distance. I agree that the power lines are a bit distracting but also a pain to remove. I'm wondering how a square crop or a vertical crop would work to add more focus on the cedar waxwings.   Posted: 04/11/2026 00:42:41

Truly an amazing app in how takes photo and gives a different perspective by enlarging one area. Wonder what kind of bird you have captured with tuff on top of head. Wish more details on birds but probably not practical considering app isolates and enlarges one part of photo. Snow covered mountain in background important bonus to photograph.   Posted: 04/12/2026 14:18:40
