December 2025 - My New Perspective
About the Image(s)
On a cold January morning, I went to my front porch to retrieve an Amazon package. As I stepped back into my foyer, my knees buckled and I fell. Unable to get up on my own, I had to wait for my son to arrive and help me up. While I waited for my son, I took this image with my iPhone 13 looking up from the floor. It was processed in Lightroom where I cleaned it up and converted it to black and white.

A unique image from a unique situation. The image presents us with a puzzle as it is difficult to figure out what one is seeing. That is a good thing, not a fault!

I'm a fan of BW, so from that perspective, the image appeals to me. I like that its abstract, too. Nice shot. Welcome to Group 51.
Just a thought: There's a photog who did a series of remarkable BW photos of ceiling fixtures you might enjoy seeing. Cole Thompson Photography. Sorry you fell and had to wait for your son to come and help. You made a creative use of your waiting time. A ceiling light!
