About the Image(s)
This image was taken in an old house in Bannack State Park, Montana. Bannock was a gold mining town established in 1862 when gold was discovered in a nearby creek. By the late 1940's the majority of people had moved on and Bannock became a "ghost town" A group of citizens organized to preserve the town site. Over 60 buildings remain in Bannock today and you can wonder around the town and into most of the buildings looking for ghosts the might remain. I wanted to get the real sense of the era so edited in Vintage and Also Distressed Fc" but found I liked the vintage effect the best.

The vintage effect certainly helps create an abandoned look as well as a "vintage" presentation.

Wow, another great image and your outstanding creative of the presentation. I love the effect of the edges using Vintage. Great work. Jerry   Posted: 11/08/2025 15:30:04
Definitely a different image from you this time. I like photos of abandoned spaces - or archived in this case. The added aging of the overlay was a good choice.

Love this moody vintage photograph and the frame adds to the effect. Really well done. Before I read your description was thinking this an excellent setting for a ghost. Composition and editing flawless.   Posted: 11/11/2025 22:36:59
Very successful capture and editing. I think you could lighter the image a bit. Good choice on the frame.   Posted: 11/12/2025 22:02:17
