About the Image(s)
I think this is a Western Cedar Tree. A different perspective looking up in the tree top. I don't think I did any processing on this image. Straight out of the phone.

Great shot Pam. Was this a horizontal Pano? I am always looking for an image like this.   Posted: 02/01/2025 15:39:19
Not a pano. Just shooting straight up the trunk.   Posted: 02/06/2025 00:38:32
This view gives the trees great power! I don't see anything to change. The image is complete and the tree trunks pull the viewer into the treetops. Nice   Posted: 02/01/2025 20:20:16
Very nice. The more common shot of the canopy is completely vertical, so this composition adds new interest. As Richard mentioned, the trunks create a strong leading line into the image. Nice colors, too. I'll have to try this method once the leaves return to the trees here.

I love the lighting on the tree trunk. The leaves and sky are vivid and the tree conveys a powerful feeling. Nice job!   Posted: 02/05/2025 07:02:08
Your photograph is a perfect homage to beauty and majesty of a tree. Interesting that one trunk divided into two separate trees. This is the type of tree that owls in my area like to use as viewing/ sleeping location. Wouldn't it be wonderful to spot an owl scowling down at us from this lofty perch?   Posted: 02/06/2025 16:25:49
The lighting on the bark adds a lot of interest. The canopy of green is a perfect complement to the trunk. It does hurt my neck to think of you taking the shot!   Posted: 02/07/2025 11:12:11
