How do I get the reflection out of my image with Snapseed? Thanks Rita

I love the lines and rich colors, though they might be a tad over saturated for some taste.I'll leave comments on removing reflections to Jerry since I am no help at all. Nicely seen and composed.   Posted: 12/09/2024 19:45:17

Hi Richard- I wondered about saturation myself, so I will wait and see what others say. Regarding your nice photo...I would suggest cropping a little on the left side.Do you think it would be a good idea to accentuate the rocks more?   Posted: 12/11/2024 04:23:29

You are right. I ould boost the contrast a tad and that would help.   Posted: 12/13/2024 00:52:41

Actually very impressive with the over-saturation. I think that is a creative success with this image.
I don't have any problem with the reflections.

Thank you very much for your comments, Stephen. It's really appreciated. I love taking pictures of stairways when I am traveling. This picture was taken in London near the London School of Economics. I can't remember the exact location. There was a staircase I took in Spain that people liked, and that gave me the incentive to do more. I look forward to seeing your photos.   Posted: 12/11/2024 04:15:53

Apparently a sunny day in London! Nice capture. I like the shapes, the colors, and all the leading lines. The vertical crop fits the scene. It does look a bit oversaturated, but that may be just the way it was.
Just for entertainment, I looked at removing some of those reflections with Snapseed, and it isn't precise enough to do a great job. I also tried PS Mobile on my iPad with an Apple pencil and got somewhat better results. I tried to attached both samples, but it won't let me add more than one.

Hi Rita. I think you got your answer on the reflection.
I do not know where the white border on the bottom came from? I would probably remove because it does not seem to pe apart of the image? A think white border around the entire image would work. Jerry   Posted: 12/12/2024 16:53:44

Thank you, Jerry, for the suggestion about the border. I always forget about the idea of using a border, so it's helpful.   Posted: 12/12/2024 18:38:09

Great eye to find this beautiful staircase with all of the wonderful colors. I like the oversaturation as an artistic expression. It is up to your taste. The rendition Robert did is nice also. The reflections don't really bother me in the wall hangings but again it's what you like and Robert was able to offer some help. To echo Jerry, the white strip at the bottom should be cropped off.   Posted: 12/12/2024 18:33:08

Thank you so much Pamela! I agree that the white strip at the bottom doesn't add anything.   Posted: 12/12/2024 18:40:06

What an intriguing staircase. Like your composition perspective of shooting from middle. The reflections don't bother me as part of the dynamic of peeking into all the entrances, exits and windows. Well seen and captured.   Posted: 12/13/2024 14:59:52

Rita, what an amazing richly colored image. The highly saturated color gave a "painting" quality/feel to the image (rather than a photograph). Love this image!   Posted: 12/15/2024 07:03:37

Wow! If "impact" is one of the criteria we use to judge an image, this one has it in spades. It's almost overwhelming but the staircase saves it by breaking up the the red in half and taking your eye through the frame. The reflection is a small issue and I think Robert's correction was very effective.   Posted: 12/16/2024 12:13:29
