Jigsaw Players - How I did it. by Sol Blechman

December 2024 - Jigsaw Players - How I did it.

About the Image(s)

In Snapseed (where else?) I converted the image using the Portrait preset and fiddled with the Shadows and Contrast setting as well. The lighting situation was difficult but it did lend itself to a silhouette.

As always, you give us something to think about. I like the silhouette and the tiny details like the eye glasses you can see on both puzzlers, the woman's hair and puzzle pieces.

I love everything about this image. The silhouette and all the little details such as the glasses, hand position, dangling hair, etc. add a great story to the image. A keeper for sure. Great eye Sol.   Posted: 12/12/2024 18:57:57

The silhouette idea was a good one for this photo! I "feel" the concentration of the puzzlers and bringing all the details out that you did make it a top notch picture.   Posted: 12/13/2024 05:07:27

Laughing because thought of turning this two toned photograph into a jigsaw puzzle would have these jigsaw enthusiasts pulling out their hair. You have such a creative eye for unique photos. Masterpiece.   Posted: 12/13/2024 15:25:02

I smiled when I read Lynne's comment. This image would make a good jigsaw puzzle!

For me what makes this image work is the energy of the poised hand, and the face searching through the puzzle pieces. A BW silhouette was a good choice. Nice capture.
