About the Image(s)
The building is a workman's cottage from the days of coal furnaces in central PA, now abandoned. I eliminated everything except the mirror to simplify the idea. I was not successful at removing the spot of glare on the upper edge of the mirror frame with Snapseed to Retouch. Dick

Your cropping did a fine job in focusing our eye on the cabin. The title works well with the image. I wonder if you tried sharpening the crop since it lost some. It might not be possible.   Posted: 11/09/2024 13:04:44

I'll give it a try.

This is an effective use of a mirror to isolate the subject. The bright trim on the car provides a leading line to push the viewer's eyes back toward the cabin. I don't think that bright spot at the top is an issue. I didn't notice it until I read your notes.

Dick I love the Croping that you did. Really made the window mirror on your car and outstanding image. I would just use the built in Computational edits and post the Saturation a little. Jerry   Posted: 11/11/2024 19:59:05

Interestingly, I have a painting in my home of an image with a rear view mirror. So, I like your idea. I would suggest a little more saturation of the colors in the cabin and trees. I love the photo.   Posted: 11/12/2024 23:12:58

An interesting idea in your cropping. The image has lost some sharpness from the original, not sure why. I think some contrast and increase in vibrance or saturation would help the image to not look so flat. A good example of "look behind you."   Posted: 11/17/2024 19:57:53

I also like the original with the leaves along side of the road. Creative rearview mirror photo and both images compelling winners.   Posted: 11/17/2024 21:28:17
