About the Image(s)
I just grabbed this great egret before it flew out of the frame. Taken with my OM1 1/2000 sec f5.6 ISO2000, exposed for the bird so shutter speed changed form +.
I exposed +2 to get the details of the feathers against the bright sky (which was fooling the meter)
Edited in ACR selecting the bird and then duplicating/inverting the mask to edit the background. A touch of Glow for the feathers.

Lisa, love this high key image. The slight turn of the head made it so you could see the eye and bill. Tack sharp and true art!   Posted: 09/13/2023 07:39:09
Hi Lisa, you have shot this egret just in the perfect wing moment, it shows all the detail in the feathers and the angle of the wings add the dynamic impact to the image. Taken birds in fly are not always easy as they move fast, and the perfect moments are often half in the frame. You manage the image edition very well.   Posted: 09/13/2023 16:38:59
Very Good Lisa. White on white is not all that easy. Good detail in the feathers. Really nice separation between the Egret and sky.   Posted: 09/13/2023 18:55:37
Great capture. It is so thrilling to be able to get such a capture. And as stated white on white is not that easy. Great detail in the beak and eyes. Definitely a winner.   Posted: 09/16/2023 19:09:02
