Tarabilla by Maria Mazo, PPSA

February 2025 - Tarabilla

About the Image(s)

For this month's image, I have chosen one of a little bird that, in Spanish, is called Tarabilla. This particular one is a female.

I took this image recently in SantoƱa, a small town about half an hour from my home. It is an important wetland where a wide variety of birds have made their habitat.

Maria, this is a gorgeous image. Your Tarabilla is tack sharp and there are no distracting elements in the frame. Even like the stick she is perched on. Excellent!   Posted: 02/15/2025 00:24:31

Hi Tom, I'm glad you like this image! I'm getting familiar with the birds surrounding me here in Spain. They are different from the ones in Australia, both in species and behaviour.   Posted: 02/19/2025 22:55:35
