About the Image(s)

Description: This shot was taken on 6/11/2024. The Common Yellowthroat is a tiny bird, very active, and looks cute. I like this location to shoot, as the background is a little far, naturally isolating the subject. In the post-process, I mainly adjusted the lighting and also used PS Generative Fill to eliminate some grasses and leaves at the bottom of the image. What do you think? Welcome any comments and suggestions. Thanks!

Camera: Nikon D850, Lens 500mm, Exposure: 1/3200 sec at f/8.0, ISO 6400

Xiao, excellent image of such a small bird. I like the leading line of the branch and the small amount of green at the top. It is perfectly cropped and has great color, sharpness and definition.   Posted: 01/10/2025 16:26:26

Xiao,

Thanks again for bringing a clear sharp image of the Yellowthroat. The black mask on this songbird is distinctive along with the catch eye.   Posted: 01/10/2025 18:53:31

Hi Xiao, this is yet another fantastic image of yours. The contrast in color between the bird and the background really enhances the shot, and the composition and detail elevate it, turning it into a fabulous Yellowthroat capture.
