About the Image(s)

Taken at The Avian Conservation Center, Awendaw, SC. This non-profit organization provides medical care for injured birds of prey and shorebirds. They also offer educational, research and conservation initiatives to increase public awareness of the important role these birds play in our environment. The Center offers special three-hour programs so photographers can take pictures and learn about the birds, the photography club I belong to has taken several field trips there.
