This is another street image taken in the neck of the wood near my home in Italy. It is a farm of walnuts. The camera was an iPhone 12, with a dual wide lens. 4.2; Exposure time 1.35; Focal length 4.2; ISO speed 32;
F number f/1.6. Post-processing PS.

Nice shot Gabriele. I love the composition with the road drawing me right to the trees. The colors are really nice but just a little bit oversaturated for me. I'm with Marge on this one. I was thinking it would be nice to really boost the saturation of the green and red. I think the trees p balance the shot and add interest. Nicely done. Posted: 08/15/2026 22:57:29

I like the composition with the leading lines and the vibrant colors. For me it is very painterly. I think it captures the feeling of summer. I pushed the saturation even more. Posted: 08/18/2026 18:12:32

Gabriele, the wrong became good to my point of view. I like the original image much better. And I really like what Art made with it. It makes me think about the latest work of the Famous British Artist David Hockney. Simple, minimalist, colorful, playful and Joyful. Hope you can see it now under this angle.

Regine, each of any of us has a different taste, back-ground, education and more. I like what Art does and I respect Art and the work he does in photography. As I told many times, here and elsewhere I will never be able to do the same. I was born and grew up, for most of my life in the cradle of Renaissance, mine home was full of paintings, and some of very highly respected artists from the
Renaissance period. So I always see the scene in front of my camera with the eyes of the artists from the past. Too much? Pretty sure! But tell me how many times you told yours self or somebody near you "look what a picture," you were looking at something. We call that inspiration. Or idea or whatever. Now wouldn't you see that picture (the original one) as a minimalist image? Two lines, two trees and a road. A perfect geometric composition using the nature in front of me.
