May 2025 - Italian Sunset

Taken just about 2 hours ago from the balcony of my home here in the country sides of Umbria (Italy). It is part of a project of shooting sunsets during a period of a month. Daily rain didn’t cooperate with my project but anyhow I was able to collect some nice shots.
Beside I’m using a borrowed an iPhone 16 ProMax and see if I can get used to an iPhone. Exposure time 1/1,773; Focal length 15.66 mm; ISO 50; Final post process PS/Lr classic.

Very relaxing. The sun draws me into the layers of red. I like that you left just enough (in my opinion) detail in the lower shadows to keep my attention on the whole image. Very nice. Posted: 05/08/2025 13:52:00
I think this is a beautiful sunset with great reds. I think that painting the sun yellow, darkening the clouds, and croping from the top and right and some darkening of the sides could add interest.I also flipped it horizontally. Posted: 05/11/2025 02:22:44
