About the Image(s)
This was made on the pond below our house. The wild Canadian geese
have learned to come to me when I call and feed them deer corn. I'm
fascinated by their social behavior and have learned to anticipate when they
will exercise their wings. I've got lots (hundreds) of images of them
establishing and maintaining their social order (fighting?). Made with Canon
R5 and Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II, @ 400mm, 12/1000 sec., f/5.6,
ISO 800 (auto) in Manual mode. Lots of dodging and burning and some
cropping. Initial port process in Lightroom Classic, then Topaz Photo AI,
Topaz Studio II and then back to Lightroom Classic for the dodging and
burning. Converted to monochrome in Lightroom Classic. "Stretching" is the
title.
