About the Image(s)

I almost laughed out loud when I saw this women resting on her bike. I was taking a class with B&H Photo in NYC on Street Photography. We were walking around on our own at this point and this moment was just waiting for a photographer strolling by. I don't think the women was even aware of her little sidekick on the building posing in the very same pose as herself. One of my favorites from the fun day walking the streets. An oldie but goodie in my opinion.
Taken with my first digital camera Canon Rebel Xsi with Canon lens. I am pretty sure it was a "kit" lens 18-55mm. Settings f5, 1/200 sec, ISO 200, 53mm. Clearly this was a lucky shot.

I think this is a great street shot. It is fine as it is, with maybe some cropping. I did some additional work on it. Things for you to consider.   Posted: 11/06/2024 04:54:02

You're right, I do like the crop and deeper colors. Thank you.   Posted: 11/30/2024 01:04:03

A street photography with illusive effect. Apparently it lead to think that the painting of the baby is superimposed because of the words just right and less sharpness of the drawing of the baby. Be it super-imposed or not, I must appreciate the creative frame.

Sunandan, by "superimposed" do you mean that I added the baby? No that is exactly how it was on the wall. Thanks for your comments.   Posted: 11/30/2024 01:05:58

I love street photography, this is a classic. Just a suggestion, Marge, work a bit on the exposition/luminosity/contrast/composition. Just a personal suggestion.   Posted: 11/29/2024 11:50:47
