I think you have a good composition here, with the textured wall behind, the vase, the drooping flower. I also like the lighting striking the flower and leaving a deep shadow on the vase.
I have a fascination for true deep black in images. I see your original has some deep black in the dark side of the vase in your original, but some detail has been drawn out of that shadow in the b/w. I favor the deep black of the original.   Posted: 07/02/2026 06:16:45

I'm not sure that you have the placement of the vase and flower correct. Would it be better to place the vase on the thirds -more aesthetically pleasing position? We also read from left to right so how about flipping the image horizontally?
I wondered whether there should be an infinity curve from table to wall.
