About the Image(s)
A lot of homes in my neighborhood have ornamental grasses in their gardens. This is one such shot. It did not look right on one side, so I kept only the good half, flipped and combined it, and cleared up a few flaws with a small healing brush.

Nice idea. Have you thought about making a mandala out of it?   Posted: 12/06/2025 20:36:44
You mean a completely circular design? What an interesting idea.   Posted: 12/10/2025 08:09:11

Hey Stephen, Wow that is a cool idea. I like it because the way the top turned out reminds me of an Angel, or a flying horse (not that I have seen one). it is one of those images that stopped me in my tracks when I saw it, and then I read your submission statement. Well Done.   Posted: 12/12/2025 03:20:29
Thank you, Don. So nice of you to come by and say that.   Posted: 12/17/2025 22:48:37
Interesting ornamental grass. Going to mono improved the image and your editing to use only the right side was a good one. I like the "v" at the top. You should have left a bit more room at the top.   Posted: 12/14/2025 18:01:00
Yes, you are right about the crop on the top. I was tight on the side, so I matched that on top, but I think you have the better sense of it.   Posted: 12/17/2025 22:49:34
This has worked really well -the symmetrical design is great. I might have cropped more at the bottom because I don't like the two bits at the corners-they would be easily cloned out. The grass has just caught the light so it sparkles. Lovely!   Posted: 12/17/2025 15:17:25
Thank you, Diana. My walking program is late afternoon, so I get good light.
Once again, I have no idea when something I do will look good to others. This one, I just threw together, but hey presto it came out.   Posted: 12/17/2025 22:51:37
