Title: Mural Hall
We made two trips to Merida, Mexico over the years. This is the main hall of the Governor’s Palace. It has fantastic murals throughout, reflecting the strong Mexican tradition of mural art. I tried to dress up my original with a creative reflection. I know that results in sunlight entering from two directions, but I like the result anyway. What do you think? There are some reflections on the polished floor. Do you find those distracting?

I like the symmetry and initially I didn't even think about the problem of the double lighting. Actually I don't think it matters because you've made such a good final patter picture. I would be tempted to remove the bright reflections on both sides if you can but it will be a fiddly job. You've successfully taken out the person so go for it!   Posted: 01/05/2025 15:32:09

A lot of effort has gone into that image, but I do find the light reflection on the floors distracting, otherwise it looks nice   Posted: 01/05/2025 16:59:09

It looks like a beautiful building area. I really like the symmetry of the image, with the black and white squares taking us straight into the center. The light reflections are a distraction.   Posted: 01/09/2025 21:40:12

Oh, for a cloudy day to eliminate the bright areas. Better schedule a third trip.
Your symmetry is perfect and the dof is right on.   Posted: 01/09/2025 22:09:26
