About the Image(s)
Another from the archives this was taken during lockdown in 2020,I used to take a walk along the beach everyday at low tide respective of time the beach always seemed to be deserted. I was lucky with this one as I walked along the beach at New Brighton and approached the lighthouse we had bright sunshine from the East and as I watched storm clouds gathering on the North Western horizon, I was thinking of cropping down slightly from the top but I liked the gradation of tones from top to bottom.
As always the groups comments would be appreciated.
How I did it
Canon EOS 5D Mk III lens Canon EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM focal length 50mm, f16 15s ISO 100 camera mounted on Manfrotto carbon tripod and Lee big stopper fitted to the lens
Basic adjustments to RAW file made in CS6,cropped from the bottom sharpened using a high pass filter .

I love seeing your archives. The image has a very peaceful look that is enhanced by the use of Lee filters. I agree with you to not crop the bottom of the image. For me the additional space adds symmetry to the image. The lightness on the top and L side of the rocks gives the rock formation more attention and the line itself gives movement to the image and goes well with the lighter line between the sea and sky.
