This month's image was made in New York city while on a harbor cruise. Just happen to catch a great sky. Canon EOS R5 at 24mm, f8, Iso 200. Original image had distortion removed using DxO View Point. Color enhanced with Nik CE. Small amount of cropping. Some dodging. Conversion in NIK Silver Effect pro using red filter. Noise reduced with Topaz DeNoise AI.

You captures a wonderful image of NYC. This is difficult shooting from a boat so was glad to read that you used several tools to get the image where you wanted it. My only suggestion would be to have a bit more water in the forefront. You can use one of the AI generate tools to assist.
I really enjoy using the options available to us today. When I have time, I use them on some of my older images to see what technology can do to enhance my work. Posted: 05/09/2025 20:56:43

Hi Ed: What a great skyline image. I love the sky with those great clouds or dispersed contrails. To my eye your image is about the skyline and sky so agree with your decision to keep the water to a minimum. Technically well done. Posted: 05/11/2025 21:50:57
