About the Image(s)
The image was captured in Northern Japan in Hokkaido. I used my Sony AR 5 with a 24-70 2.4 lens. I made minor adjustments in LR and transformed it to B&W in Silver Effects

Hi Susan: How cold was it? Bu rrr What a great image. You captured the skier in the exact middle of your image. The surrounding winter landscape is really lovely.   Posted: 04/12/2025 15:17:07
Susan - unfortunately I only see a small part of the image - the top of his head. The remainder of the frame is pure white.   Posted: 04/13/2025 11:14:57
That is unfortunate. The image is fine on my PC   Posted: 04/13/2025 11:29:45
This is most peculiar - I originally saw only part of a completely different image, that of an old man. Now I see the landscape image!
Very well composed with the figure in the centre surrounded by the whiteness of the snow and nicely held in on each side by the snow covered trees which converge to give depth to the image.   Posted: 04/17/2025 08:42:52

Hi Susan
the first thing I thought was what a wonderful recession from the boldness of the trees in the foreground to the furthest trees barely definable its a magical effect very very well produced, the skier is perfectly placed in the image, its as good a winter image as I have seen in a very long time.   Posted: 04/17/2025 20:57:19
