About the Image(s)
Technical: Canon EOS 5R. 1/500, ISO 3200, F13. Original was processed with Nuik7 Color effect to enhance the color. I used Photoshop's AI engine to remove distracting background items with generative fill. Converted to monochrome with Nik silver effect, cropped the image and finished with a 3 pixel stroke. This was another attempt at street portraiture.

HI Ed: To my eye, your image is an example of capturing an extemporaneous moment in the life of 3 ladies. I suspect they know each other and are possibly related as evidenced by their relaxed nature to each other. Your image appears sharp without noise given the ISO setting. I like the ladies are sharp and the background is soft, nice handling of DOF as well. Posted: 03/10/2025 05:53:36
Ed - a great family(?) image oozing connectivity and tranquility - the arrangement of the three ladies is excellent with the heads ncely triangulated. The steps make an ideal foreground and the diffused background serves to put emphasis on the ladies.
Very well processed with good detail in the light tones. My only nit pick is the cutoff of the lady on the left of the frame - no big deal, but I would have preferred to see all of the ladt. Posted: 03/14/2025 06:36:25

Ed, it is perhaps a shame that the lady on the left has been cut off but that may just be a minor niggle.

I love the expressions on the ladies faces,all on different levels which really makes the image flow ad leads the eye beautifully from one to another,the light areas are nicely handled and as already said great DOF ,really well spotted and presented. Posted: 03/18/2025 20:55:25
