Ed - abandoned cars in the States attract me like a magnet, especially those at Bodie and Nelson Ghost Town and both locations have yielded some very successful images. These two old cars would certainly have attracted me and I love the patina developed over many years of exposure to the weather.
Maybe a little too tightly cropped for my taste and I feel that the highlights would benefit from being reduced a little. The area looks to have great potential and I wonder if you captured images from a different angle rather than the straightforward head on shot?

Hi Ed: A very interesting and clever image. I love these old cars and think you did a great job isolating them from the distractions of the background. It is easy to see that they have been weathering in the same location for a very long time. If only they could talk and tell us their story. Nothing better than a bunch of old cars! Nature at its finest reclaiming man-made objects. I've spent some time at Old Car City in Georgia so I know how tough it can be to isolate and frame these things.
