Hello Ed! Man, what a moody, dramatic shot! I like how you've reduced the amount of foreground and let that sky tell the story. Many times, I've seen those summer storms as I was heading south on US 441 or US 27, makes me miss those days.

I'm not sure what's going on with the palm trees on the right but they seem to have artifacts or over lightened? Might just be jpeg issues.   Posted: 12/09/2024 18:34:50

Ed - a very dramatic image in which the sky clearly takes centre stage. I do like the layering and textures of the clouds and the hint of falling rain. The minimalist foreground serves to provide an adequate base for the image.
Happy Holidays.   Posted: 12/10/2024 11:28:47

Hi Ed: Your image is all about the clouds and burst of rain with it being at least 80% of your image. The horizon line is straight, and foreground is a nice and does not distract from the clouds above.   Posted: 12/10/2024 17:40:45

Hi Ed
This is an image that really attracts your attention,so dramatic you did exactly the right thing the sky is the story and you let that take centre stage in the image just the right amount of landscape to show the light and dark effects on the ground brilliant image that tells the story.   Posted: 12/18/2024 17:05:06

Ed,
Great movement in the clouds. I also like how the bands in the foreground landscape echo the clouds. The trees however look a little artificial to me especially the stand of trees on the right. Overall, a keeper. Susan   Posted: 12/20/2024 16:43:32
