About the Image(s)

I took this several years ago at a Halloween themed group shoot. I guess my main issue is that it looks a little dark, and I was wondering how the lighting could have been adjusted or what I could have done in pos to brighten it. Camera and lens, Nikon D3100 and Nikkor 55-200 3.5-5.6 dx lens. Exposure, f14, 1/250. ISO 200. Lighting, I believe was a strobe. Post Capture, adjustments were done in Photoshop Elements.

Mark,
Over all I like the lighting that you have with the exception of the saber which is drawing the viewer's eye from the model. Otherwise a very nice portrait.   Posted: 10/05/2026 23:01:54

Interesting portrait. I find the shadow on her forehead and on her chest slightly distracting since my eyes are drawn to the shadows first. I like all the texture in the photo.   Posted: 10/06/2026 01:21:51
