About the Image(s)
I’m not a “cruise person” but did enjoy taking an Alaska cruise with my husband a couple of years ago. Walking around the boat, enjoying the nature views, I was intrigued by this series of reflections on one of the decks. Taken with my Nikon gear, 70-200mm at 70mm, ISO 100, f2.8, midday. I cropped, straightened and tried to denoise a bit using Topaz studios. Not sure what else I could do with this. Just a sort of fun shot.

I like it, it's a good slice of life shot and I think the people on the deck add to it.   Posted: 07/02/2026 13:38:37
Very interesting photo that one can continuously see more things that catch one's attention. Ideally I would have liked the one woman who is cut in half by the pole removed, but it also adds to the realism of the moment captured.   Posted: 07/03/2026 00:23:10
Ellen, I think you are probably right. I will remove her.   Posted: 07/06/2026 20:44:26
I find the reflections from each panel on the upper deck not continuous to form a smoother image. There is a deck separating the top and bottom halves as well.
I tried to crop away the top half but find that the remaining is too wide.   Posted: 07/12/2026 14:43:05

Walter, you are correct. The reflections are broken up. That is one of the things I like about it, but probably not to everyone's taste.... and that's ok.   Posted: 07/12/2026 18:14:10
