I think it would work better if you cropped it tighter to focus on just the flower as I think the background is distracting. Posted: 04/04/2026 22:36:02
Judith, I agree with Mark so I cropped it in further with a 5x7 vertical crop (vertical to mimic the flower). I think when you originally cropped it lost some focus so I selected the flower only and sharpened it in LR. Then I used one of LR's blur presets and blurred the background. See if you like it? Thank you for your suggestions I am having trouble wiyj my Mose trackpad and keyboard not working wirelessly I have to plug the track pad and keyboard separately but I need to work on it so I can sharpen and edit without taking hours! Posted: 04/08/2026 22:22:06
Very cool flower photo. As others have mentioned, blurring and reducing the background helps the composition. I think if your background were the same type of greenery in the back and not split in the middle as two types it would be less distracting. Posted: 04/09/2026 12:54:49
