About the Image(s)
This is the roof of the Esplanade Theatre. It is a performing arts center in Singapore, known for its distinctive, spiky dome like structures that resemble the spiky exterior of the durian fruit.
It was converted to B&W and adjustments were done in PS.

I like it, however, I'm curious as to what this looked like in color.   Posted: 07/04/2025 16:13:43
I searched for other photos of the building. Rather interesting design. I do like your image. My only suggestion is to remove the light areas, upper left. I think they are a little distracting. Easy fix.   Posted: 07/06/2025 01:29:35

Just visiting from Group 51. I like this high contrast black and white image of the amazing architecture of the Esplanade. Good use of light and shadow. Nicely done.

Nice one, Walter! I like how you edited the photo, which transforms it into a very stark, minimalistic emphasis on the architectural details.   Posted: 07/09/2025 06:02:24
BW Post processing is the right choice. Like the pattern. Yes, look like a part of Durian skin.   Posted: 07/10/2025 05:37:26
Nice architectural picture, like B&W like contrast.   Posted: 07/10/2025 16:51:00
Good job Walter. I prefer your B&W edit over the original. I agree with Dorinda's suggestion. I would like to see this building from other angles..   Posted: 07/16/2025 17:29:31
