This months image is from the set of "found chair" photos taken back in December. As a refresher, this chair was left behind by someone so it became my subject ???? For this image I placed the chair facing the water and surrounded by cypress knees. I wanted a sallow depth of field but f1.8 it maybe a little thin, with the front corner being a little soft.
Gear: 5Dmk4, 85mm @ f1.8, 1/320.

I really like this, however I think it could be enhance be converting it to b+w which I feel would increase it's impact and give it a cool/creepy vibe. Posted: 04/02/2025 14:03:48
I like the B&W or monotone idea. I think there is merit to both the color mono images. The color has a more Alice in wonderland vibe, a tea party chair in the swap. While the mono image feels, like you said creepy, voodoo swamp Posted: 04/02/2025 20:13:02

Good catch, I hadn't paid much attention to that because the chair was on an incline when photographed. But looking at it from your viewpoint it needed to be straightened. Posted: 04/02/2025 20:08:35
